Why Preparation Helps?

Good preparation before the cleaning team arrives ensures the time is spent on actual cleaning, not tidying up. The result is better and the price may be lower.

7 Steps Before the Team Arrives

1. Put Away Personal Items and Valuables

Store jewelry, cash and important documents in a safe place. The team is instructed not to touch personal items, but it's better to be safe.

2. Clear Large Piles

Gather clothes from floors and chairs, put toys in boxes. The team won't clean under piles of things.

3. Clear Access to Surfaces

Remove items from floors, kitchen countertops and bathroom spaces. The more free space, the better and faster the team can clean.

4. Mark What Not to Touch

If there are items you don't want moved, leave a note or tell the team when they arrive.

5. Ensure Access

Make sure all spaces to be cleaned are accessible. Unlock wardrobes if they need to be cleaned inside.

6. Take Pets Elsewhere

During cleaning, it's better if pets are somewhere else — for the animal's stress and the team's free access.

7. Mention Special Requirements

Let the team know about allergies to certain cleaning products or special materials (natural stone, wood) that need special attention.

You Don't Have to Do Everything

These are tips, not obligations. The DayClean team arrives ready to work in any condition. But a little preparation always helps.
